Michelle Martinich is the founding Chief Financial Officer of American Riviera Bank (the ‘Bank’), a $1.2 billion community bank headquartered in Santa Barbara, CA and has served in this role since the Bank’s inception in 2006. As the CFO she is responsible for all aspects of accounting, financial reporting, strategic planning, shareholder relations and balance sheet management including the Bank’s investment portfolio, interest rate risk and liquidity. Michelle also serves as the Corporate Secretary of the Bank with responsibility for Board and Corporate Governance. Previously Michelle was the Vice President, Planning and Analysis at Pacific Capital Bancorp and served as an External Auditor at Arthur Andersen. Michelle is a Certified Public Accountant and graduated with honors from UC Santa Barbara with a BA in Business Economics. She is a multi-year recipient of the “Who’s Who in Banking and Finance” as well as “CFO of the Year” and “40 Under 40” designation from the Pacific Coast Business Times.
