Kezi Cheng founded FLO Materials to pioneer a new generation of circular polymers that combine versatile performance with exceptional recyclability. FLO’s material platform makes true product-to-product recycling possible, bridging sustainability with profitability for complex, multi-plastic products. Dr. Cheng was awarded the Activate/Cyclotron Road Fellowship, a U.S. DOE supported Lab-Embedded Entrepreneurship Program (LEEP) intended to accelerate breakthrough technologies from lab to market. She was named to the Forbes 30 Under 30 list in Manufacturing and Industry in 2022 and currently leads an NSF SBIR/STTR project as Principal Investigator. She holds a B.S. in Materials Science with a minor in Management from MIT and earned her Ph.D. from Harvard University.
