Brendon Keiser is a startup advisor and commercial strategy leader with more than 30 years of experience across the pharma/biotech and medtech industries. He has held senior commercial and marketing leadership roles with global organizations including Medtronic, Baxter Healthcare, Novartis, and the Johnson & Johnson. His work has spanned product launches, global marketing strategy, business development, and commercialization across a wide range of healthcare technologies and therapeutic areas.

Today, Brendon focuses on supporting early-stage innovation throughout California’s Central Coast startup ecosystem. As a consultant affiliated with the SBDC and California Innovation Hub programs, he has advised more than 30 pre-seed and early-stage tech companies across various sectors. He works closely with founders on business strategy, customer discovery, fundraising preparation, and go-to-market planning, while also helping connect entrepreneurs with regional resources and networks.

Brendon is an active mentor and advocate for entrepreneurship and sustainable innovation. He regularly supports programs through UC Santa Barbara, CSU Channel Islands & Cal Poly San Luis Obispo, including accelerator and pitch competition initiatives. A longtime resident of California’s Central Coast, he is passionate about fostering collaboration, supporting mission-driven entrepreneurs, and helping innovative ideas grow into impactful businesses.
